In 1968, designer Anna Castelli Ferreri, wife of the Kartell founder, created the famous Componibili. This moulded plastic cylinder with its understated and functional lines is a symbol of the revolution in design that occurred in the 1960s. Pop, democratic, accessible, daring, practical, modular: this little module fully meets the needs of the new society that was emerging. The Componibili was soon a success thanks to its extreme functionality. Compact and versatile, Componibili easily fit into all rooms in the house, on the floor or placed on another piece of furniture. It fulfils several needs: bedside table in the bedroom, end table in the living room, small storage module in the bathroom or kitchen, stool if necessary. The Smile version can be used outdoors.
