MONKEY LAMP per Seletti   Info e prezzi: CLICCA QUI!   Realizzate in resina e rifinite a mano, le Monkey Lamp raffigurano una scimmia, in tre diverse posizioni, che esplora l’ambiente stringendo nella zampa una lampada a led: un modo nuovo ed alternativo di intendere l’illuminazione. Le scimmie ricordano molto gli uomini, per questo le ho spesso proposte anche nei miei lavori scultorei. Nella versione lampada per Seletti, si intrufolano nella nostra casa: mi piace pensare che stiano rubando quelle lampadine, che non siano affatto al nostro servizio ma che abbiano smontato qualche lampadario e gironzolino per casa indisturbate. La mia produzione si ispira alla relazione tra uomo e natura. Miro ad un risultato semplice ma anche ironico: preferisco i concetti che facciano riflettere con ironia.     MONKEY LAMP for Seletti   Info and prices: CLICK HERE!   Made of resin and finished by hand, the Monkey Lamps depict a monkey in three different positions, exploring the environment while clutching a LED bulb: a new and alternative way of conceiving lighting. Monkeys are very reminiscent of men: that’s why I have often proposed them in my sculptural works. In the version for Seletti, they sneak into our house: I like to think they are stealing those bulbs, which are not at all to our service but they have removed some chandeliers in an undisturbed house. My production is inspired by the relationships between man and nature. I aim for a simple result but also ironic: I prefer the concepts that make people think with irony.   Marcantonio Art & Design
